About this site and how it calculates (Pakistan)
Updated
Why this site exists
Most loan calculators exist to collect your phone number. This one exists to answer one question honestly: what does this loan really cost?
Not a valid document. Estimate for information only — not financial advice, not an offer of credit and not a bank document. Errors are possible. Only your bank's or finance company's official offer letter, contract and statements are binding.
Who runs this site
Built by a Dubai resident since 2014 who has taken a car loan, refinanced personal loans, and taken out a mortgage and a remortgage here, each with a rate that looked lower than it was. No bank, broker or lender pays to appear on this site. Every figure links to its official source. Contact: hello@realloanrate.com
How the numbers are calculated
Every calculator uses the same engine: mark-up (or Islamic profit) on the reducing balance, month by month. The APR incl. fees is the yearly rate at which your installments repay what you actually receive after up-front fees. The State Bank of Pakistan sets no maximum mark-up, so the rate in each calculator is only an example — type the one in your Key Fact Statement. Banks count day by day and round their own way, so their figure can differ from ours by a few rupees.
Where the rules come from
Every regulatory number comes from an official Pakistani source — the State Bank of Pakistan (Prudential Regulations, circulars, the KIBOR files and the Roshan Digital Account, Naya Pakistan Certificate and Roshan Apna Ghar pages), the Federal Board of Revenue (Income Tax Ordinance as amended by the Finance Act 2026), the National Assembly (Finance Act 2025), the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Revenue and the Banking Mohtasib Pakistan — and each page shows the source link and the date it was last checked. Where no official number exists or the official page cannot be read, the page says so and lets you enter your own figure.
What this site is not
It is not a bank, a finance company, a broker or financial advice. There are no affiliate links and no lead forms.
