Bahrain government housing schemes: Mazaya and Tas'heel+

Updated

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning runs housing-finance schemes for Bahraini citizens. This page sums up the official terms the Ministry publishes; it does not assess eligibility. The terms change, and the Ministry decides who qualifies.

Mazaya: the citizen pays at most 25% of monthly income, the government supports the rest of the instalment; an existing home up to BHD 120,000, finance up to BHD 81,000 over up to 25 years. Tas'heel+: instalments at most 35% of approved income, finance up to BHD 91,000 over 30 years.
